Silverfall

In this ruined city there is a lot to do. Here you'll meet a handful of people you know from the Refugee Camp. As you complete the tasks, the city is getting rebuild and you see Silverfall more and more complete according to your attitude. If you are on nature's side, there will be gardens, trees and clear air all over the place. If you are technology-sided, there will be sawmills, and you can see railways crossing through whole Silverfall, for example.

Go see Salma/Chalnuk in Silverfall

Quest giver: Salma/Chalnuk
Type: main quest

After arriving to Silverfall, you have to meet Salma/Chalnuk. Go to the quest sign and talk to her/him, then you can discover the whole city. This quest is done when you speak to her/him.

The Gaian druids

Quest giver: Salma/Chalnuk
Type: main quest

The main quest's next step is given by Salma/Chalnuk in which she/he asks you to get some life water from the Gaian druids. Only the life water is able to clear Silverfall's waters tainted by the invading undeads. If you picked up the tasks you can here, head for Gaian (the entrance is signed on your maps!).

The antidote

Quest giver: Lissae
Type: secondary quest (reward)

For example you can speak to Lissae the healer first, who will tell you that a few people got sick because of the poisoned water. Now she has no remedy for that, but she knows about a method that could work. The venom gland of an Urguln can heal almost all kind of poisoning. Therefore she asks you to bring her one venom gland of an Urguln. This is a flying monster living mostly near the waters. If you agree with her to give you some potions, that will be the reward. Otherwise you will only get her thanks.

The heron potion

Quest giver: Klisiere
Type: secondary quest (reward)

You can talk to Klisiere the potion maker as well, and ha again will give you a task. This time you have to collect 10 rootlion's claws for +1 agility. You can gain the claws from any kind of rootlions, but not all of them drop this.

The temple's sacred stone

Quest giver: Priest
Type: secondary quest (reward)

Speak with the Priest standing outside a temple-like building not far from Chalnuk. He asks you to retrieve a stone stolen from the temple. You won't find this sacred stone soon, because it is in the Camp of the Corrupt Elves far away in the north. Don't forget this quest, but you might complete it after you get the "Kill the prince" quest from the Gaian druids. If you get it back to the Priest, he'll give you a nice armour for that.

Reward for the beast-men

Quest giver: Beast hunter
Type: secondary quest (reward)

You can take up this quest at a Beast hunter standing at the great waterfall-bridge (next to the Gaian passageway). He asks you to kill 10 beast-men. This quest stands only for the beast-men living in the Gaian area, because they are the ones that harass the people. Do it for some xp and gold. This quest also can be repeated as many times as you wish.

Lack of workers in Silverfall

Quest giver: Silverfall guard
Type: secondary quest (reward)

One of the Silverfall guards asks you to secure the city's safety. There are a few mercenaries in the next area you can hire for this purpose. After you gain their help return to the guard for the reward.

A blacksmith for Silverfall

Quest giver: Badaud
Type: secondary quest (nature)

When you come across Badaud, he tells you that he's found a lot of stuff next to the river. He can't use them, therefore he wants to sell them to get some money. You advise him to ask Chalnuk, but he's not interested in smithing any more, and the Smith's Apprentice has vanished into thin air, because he didn't come back to Silverfall. The thing is that a smith is needed in Silverfall. Badaud sends the nature-sided characters to Sylvo the nature-lover smith. Make sure that Sylvo comes to Silverfall. If you persuaded Sylvo to help, go to Badaud again. You'll get some not so great stuff, but you loyalty to nature will increased by 5%.

A blacksmith for Silverfall

Quest giver: Badaud
Type: secondary quest (technology)

When you come across Badaud, he tells you that he's found a lot of stuff next to the river. He can't use them, therefore he wants to sell them to get some money. You advise him to ask Chalnuk, but he's not interested in smithing any more, and the Smith's Apprentice has vanished into thin air, because he didn't come back to Silverfall. The thing is that a smith is needed in Silverfall. Badaud sends the technology-sided characters to Loke Iron the technology-lover smith. Make sure that Loke comes to Silverfall. If you persuaded Loke to help, go to Badaud again. You'll get some not so great stuff, but you loyalty to technology will increased by 5%.

The orphan's return

Quest giver: Portiz
Type: companion

When you return to Silverfall, Portiz will chat up you and tell you he wishes to return in his village. In fact he is a foundling who was nursed by elves and they taught archery him as well. The mentioned village lies in the south marshes, the far and of Mangrove, so you can find out that is the Elf village you visited already. The quest is done when you arrive in the village. You can simply teleport yourselves there, but if you wish to develop your character, you can also walk through this area again. (Click for "A heavy hearted elf" quest.)

Itinerary for Greybay

Quest giver: Lieutenant Glardo
Type: main quest

After giving Salma/Chalnuk the blessed sacred water, she/he tells you that the King of Egreid and Princess Ilina, his daughter would have come to support the rebuild of Silverfall, but they were attacked during the travel. The Princess has disappeared and with her - the crown too. You have to find them. One of the survivors, Lieutenant Glardo promise you to think out a way in to Greybay to where the attack can be traced back. After you finished talking and "rest a little", speak with him again, then the quest is done.

To Greybay

Quest giver: Lieutenant Glardo
Type: main quest

Glardo tells a tale about how they fought at the aerial battle with the necroraiders therefore he advises you two ways of travel: by foot or by boat. If you choose to go by boat you will be there in no time. But once you are in the area of Greybay, get into the city, otherwise you have to travel there by foot next time. If you choose to go by foot it takes longer, but you gain a lot of xp (travel to the Forest, in the middle turn right and head upwards on a wide path to Greybay, then just go to East). While you're chatting with Glardo, it turns out that the citizens of Silverfall has chosen you to be the governor. After it he asks you one last thing: to see Syriaz who is a smuggler, but knows a lot about everything. Glardo mentions that Greybay is besieged. And your task is to get inside somehow! This task is fulfilled when you talk to the Necroraider boss standing outside the city gates and destroy him.

Through the mountains

Quest giver: Salma/Chalnuk
Type: main quest

This quest is given almost at the end of the game. After you discovered the northern areas and encountered the game's main Boss opponent, Jokshirok, king of Koroziom, the maker of the Death Shadow. And after you spoke to the druids in Steelight Duchy you return to Silverfall and meet Salma/Chalnuk again. During the war council you agree to send everyone to the protection of Blazis, and you take the responsibility for dealing with the Dark King. Go then to north-east in the Rocky Mountains and descend to the Subterranean World. If you haven't discovered those mountains during an Ice monster hunt, it is time to pick up and complete that task as well. If the area is cleared already, you can simply click on the entrance of the Subterranean World to get in there. Entering the underworld you fulfil this task. But don't worry! You'll have a lot do yet.

Was thinking on grabbing SF and SF:EA on Steam if they pop up during winter sale. Since last time I played was almost 7 years ago and maybe dig in game code once more and see if I could reverse engineer some stuff while at it. Maybe 3.5 years at uni were something. smiley

Yeah. It's sad... I should upgrade this site for a new joomla or something. Then people could register again, and perhaps the life would rise again here... I'm just lack of free time to do that.

Sorry for the missing registration option, but I had to deny it because of the assaulting spammers. I will find a way for the registration. Thanks for your patience!

Did you check the requirements? Perhaps it doesn't show, because it's not proper size (kb or pixs).
